Like last year, Marcs mum and dad have spent the winter in Spain.
And like last year we booked some cheap flights, a cheap hire car and went out to see them for a week or so to escape the winter weather...
And an earthquake this year apparently!
It was a rather nice feeling to wake up on a freezing foggy tuesday to end up that evening somewhere with a temperature in the high teens. The weather generally was warm and sunny, and even the cloudy (and one rainy) day were far nicer than the frost and wind back home.
We went to the beach, ate lots of tapas, visited the Picasso museum in Malaga and spent a lot of time lying in the sun... so much better than being in work!
The only down side was the delay on the flight back which meant getting to bed at around 3 o'clock this morning only to get up for work 4 hours later...

This weekend was glorious... early february and two t-shirt weather days in a row!
